This term my animation is about how airplanes fly.
We have been learning about the four forces of flight.
These are lift, thrust, drag and weight.
Lift is when the plane goes up. It gets lift from the planes engines.
Thrust is what makes the plane go forward and up into the air.
A planes engines gives it thrust.
Drag is what slows a plane down because of the wind.
Weight is what makes a plane go down because of the gravity on Earth.
