Compound Sentence

Task description:Today for writing room 3 did a compound sentence we had to get 2 simple sentence and put in a conjunction between it. Here are some of my 5 of my favorite compound sentences from our task today.

 

Cross Country

On a very hot sunny day pt England school had cross country. The cross country was at pt England school on the field. The year 5,6,7 and 8 had to ran 1.5 kilometres but the year 7 and 8 had to do 2 laps.

We had to get changed into our house colour. After we got changed into our house colour we had to go to the hard court. The year 1’s had to go first for there race. The year 5,6,7 and 8 had to wait for their race.

It was the year 5 boy’s turn. We had to line up for Mr Burt to slap the clapper. Then all of the year 5 boy’s gassed past Mr Burt then we had to follow the marshal. When me and Anania was Almost coming a tie but i just beat him.

When the race start for the year 5 boys i felt very nervous. When we got into the gate There was a big

Puddle. Mostly all of the people was sprinting in the start then when they got half way they start to jog. I enjoyed cross country because i liked getting muddy.
